The European Youth Experience Scheme (EYES)

After Brexit, young people in the UK lost vital opportunities to connect, travel, and gain experience across Europe. The European Youth Experience Scheme (EYES) aims to change that.

We are calling for a new government-backed initiative that will allow young people aged 18 to 30 (or 35) to access internships, cultural exchanges, volunteer placements, and civic engagement programmes across Europe.

EYES would help rebuild the bridges lost in the aftermath of Brexit offering UK youth the chance to grow personally, professionally, and politically through international experience.

This is more than a travel scheme. It’s an investment in the next generation of globally minded leaders helping young people gain skills, forge friendships, and strengthen UK-EU relationships from the ground up.
